The Perfect Pitch Method takes you to the Perfect Pitch in simple 5 steps
To create the Perfect Pitch, I developed the Perfect Pitch Method. This method takes you through the following five steps:
The Perfect Pitch Method puts an end to boring PowerPoint presentations.
The drawback of a traditional PowerPoint presentation is that it often consists of a dry list of facts and events. Typically, the presentation is filled with graphs, tables, and analyses. The result of this businesslike and emotionless narrative is that the audience struggles to stay awake. Everyone is just waiting for the presentation to end, which doesn’t leave a lasting impression. And that’s the last thing you want.
Step 1:
Audience Analysis:
Get into their shoes
Put yourself in your audience’s shoes. Who are they? What problem do theyhave that you can solve? And what do you want from your audience?Â
With a proper Audience Analysis, formulating your message and your call-to-action (two of the four crucial elements of a pitch) becomes a breeze!
Step 2:
Passion Hookâ„¢:
Share your passionate story
Step 3:
The Pitch Mix:
Combine Audience Analysis and Passion Hook
Based on the Audience Analysis and the Passion Hook, you’ll craft your pitch. You need to tell a litte bit about yourself (the fourth element of a Perfect Pitch), but definitely not too much!
You want your audience to be on the edge of their seats. For that to happen, they need to fully immerse themselves in your story, engaging all their senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feeling. Take them into your world, so they can experience your passion and hang on your every word.
Step 4:
Body Narrationâ„¢:
Let your body speak
Are you good at memorising? I’m not. Memorising takes up an enormous amount of time, which you (like me) probably don’t have. But the alternative—standing on stage without any practice—won’t deliver the wow factor you’re looking for when you want to persuade and inspire people.
My solution? Let your body remember, not your mind! I’ll teach you Body Narrationâ„¢:
- Presenting lively, in a way that keeps your audience hooked.
- Never again wondering where to leave your hands or forgetting your lines
- Practicing your pitches, speeches, and presentations up to 7 times faster
Step 5:
Feedback: Involve me
Good feedback is crucial but often hard to come by. From me, you’ll receive honest, professional, and personal feedback. The kind of feedback you typically don’t get because the people around you lack knowledge about the science of presenting, don’t have a deep understanding of body language, and aren’t objective, as they all want something from you. According to clients, I provide feedback “in a way that feels safe.”
You’ll not only learn what could be improved and why, but also what already works well. This way, you can consciously apply it.
In short:
As De Pitchcoach, I can help you conduct a thorough analysis of your audience. I can tell you what they expect from you and what you can offer them. I assist you in uncovering the story that resonates with your audience and showcases your strengths and passion. Based on this, you will draft a concept pitch in about half an hour.
Then, I will help you rewrite it to add the wow factor. I will teach you how I do this and why, so you can apply it yourself next time.
Finally, we will work on Body Narrationâ„¢, ensuring that the pitch is not just in your mind but also in your body. This way, you can deliver the pitch perfectly to your audience. The Perfect Pitch you create will generate interest in your idea, product, or service, leading to new opportunities or the job of your dreams. Making your ideas a reality!
